The Renault Floride was launched at the 1958 Paris Motor Show.

It was originally developed for the American market , and based on the Renault Dauphine.

Pietro Frua at Carrozzeria Ghia designed the svelte and stylish body.

Three versions were available : a 2+2 Coupe, a 2+2 Cabriolet and the top of the range Convertible with removable hardtop , just like the model we have on offer.

It was a fashionable car in the early sixties, not the least because Brigitte Bardot owned one.
